Jade Gayo Luwak Coffee – Once you try ours, you’ll never want any other!
Our signature brand has their origins in the coffee plantations of scenic Gayo, in the Central Aceh province of Indonesia. Located in the lush jungles, often at altitudes of 1,000-1,500 meters above sea level, these plantations are surrounded by wild-living Civet cat habitat. For these free roaming cats, the plantations offer a convenient and ever present source of food.
Because our coffee is the product of free range Civets, its production is the result of a much more natural digestive process that culminates in a better tasting end product. Our beans are unlike the Java and Bali Civet coffee beans that are forced-fed to caged animals. By contrast, because of their natural instincts, wild living Civet’s are extremely discerning in choosing only the best tasting coffee berry beans to eat. The result is clearly reflected in our coffee!
A rare taste that’s never easily forgotten
The earthy flavor of our Coffee produces a low acidity, heavy bodied brew that is light and smooth on the palate. To enjoy a cup of Luwak Coffee simply add no more than 15 grams of our blend into a cup of hot water (95 to 98 centigrade / 203 to 208 F) using a fine coffee filter. Now you’re ready for a sip of heaven, sit back, relax and enjoy it black! You will enjoy its superior quality even if you wish to brew our blend using your favourite method.
Our product is produced under strict hygienic manufacturing conditions, and subject to the highest levels of quality control through every step of the process. The product is lab-tested for chemical and microbiological content, and is manufactured to meet the stringent guidelines from Agri-food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore.
Amongst the various items that our coffee is tested for includes: Total Colony Count, Fecal coliform, E. Coli (including E. Coli O157:H7), Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus , Salmonella, Shigella, pesticide residue and heavy metals
In short, our coffee is safe to drink anytime, anywhere!
